- 212 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon allspice
- 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
- 3-4 Harry & David® Royal Riviera® Pears (thinly sliced)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch salt
- In a medium bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, spices, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until combined. Beat in the vanilla extract.
- Stir in the dry ingredients until a batter starts to form. Stir in the melted butter until combined.
- Heat your waffle iron to the desired setting. Once hot, make your waffles according to the iron's directions.
- Serve the waffles immediately, topping with cinnamon pears and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
- Once melted, add the pears and stir. Cook for 1-2 minutes, just until the pears soften slightly.
- Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir and toss gently.
